Indemnitor Responsibilities

  • The Indemnitor will make sure the defendant returns to the bondoffice NO later than 24 hours after being released to sign bond paperwork and contract not signed at the jail.
  • Assist in monitoring the defendant insuring that the defendant will appear in court at the proper time.
  • Alerts the bonding company in the event the defendant refuses to go to court, or flees.
  • Notify the bonding company when the indemnitor or the defendant changes address, place of employment, or telephone numbers.
  • Ensures that all money owed to the bonding company will be paid. Understands that when payments are not paid, the bonding company will pursue legal action to collect any money owed. This includes the defendant failing to appear in court, and bondsman rearrest fees.
  • By signing the indemnitor's contract the indemnitor is aware that T&T Bail Bonds L.L.C. has been contracted to post a bond for which the defendant will receive benefit. That once a bond is posted, and the defendant is released or transferred from jail there will be no refund.
  • It is the indemnitor's responsibility to notify T&T Bail Bonds L.L.C. if the defendant is rearrested on any new charges.
  • It is understood that by being the indemnitor if you wish to remove your name from the contract on the bond, the defendant will be returned to the jail he was bonded out from. Also all bond moneys owed including the bondsman rearrest fee are to be paid even though the defendant is in jail.
